How confident and safe are your divers with DiveGuard?

Consider the more important question: "How confident and safe are your divers without DiveGuard when performing inward or reverse dives, especially new ones?"

Until DiveGuard is adopted by every single platform diving club out there, it is only matter of time before another diver hits the platform without any protection. Here are some testimonials and video from where it happened on record:
  • Greg Louganis about a fatal platform diving accident in 1983: "I knew something terrible had happened when I felt the tower shake. I heard screaming. I ran to the edge of the platform and saw a lot of blood in the pool."
  • In this video Greg Louganis himself hits his head twice: once on the springboard, another time on the platform: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5nqeFWufrE
  • "For some reason, Nathan's technique was very bad for this dive," said Steve Foley, Nathan Meade's coach on Nathan's fatal platform hit. "Instead of jumping forward, he jumped back a fraction and he hit his head on the way down. I don't know what caused it--maybe it was a momentary lapse in concentration."
  • Greg Louganis was lucky as he hit the platform on a slow spin 301 dive. This video shows a more recent platform hit on a high spin inward dive: http://youtu.be/M_WEOecjwLY
These and many other platform hit mishaps could have had much less dramatic outcomes had DiveGuard been used by the divers' coaches.
